Primus

PRIMUS is my first triple-axis tourbillon wristwatch, housing an extraordinarily complex movement. Respecting the ultimate traditions of classical watchmaking, I invented a three-axis tourbillon movement where the unique architecture of the third (external) cage allows for the exclusive use of jewel bearings throughout – entirely eliminating the need for ball bearings. This is a globally patented solution at this scale and level of micro-mechanical complication.

The intricate tourbillon mechanism alone comprises more than 100 individual parts, contributing to a total of nearly 400 meticulously crafted components within the entire watch.

Every single component of the PRIMUS – as with all timepieces from my atelier – was crafted entirely by myself within my workshop, including the gears, wheels, pinions, and screws, as well as the case, buckle, crown, dial, and hands. Every individual part is treated as an independent jewel, finished meticulously by hand to the absolute pinnacle of haute horlogerie.
