My very first clock, the Miniature Double Pendule Zappler, is celebrated as the smallest functioning pendulum clock in the world. It is a creation of immense charm and distinct design, built upon a shield adorned with intricately carved leaf patterns and flanked on either side by a pair of golden fish. From the upper section, twin pendulums swing in perfect cadence, featuring weights meticulously adorned with ruby-encrusted suns—the entire architecture resting gracefully on a similarly hand-carved circular base.
Yet, what renders this handmade timepiece truly extraordinary is not merely its exquisite detail, but its astonishing proportions. Protected by a bespoke domed glass case, the Miniature Zappler measures a mere 35 mm in height and 34 mm in diameter, while the movement itself is just 20 mm tall. In its entirety, it stands only slightly taller than a one-Euro coin.

As my first major horological complication, the Tourbillon No. 1 carriage clock integrates a complete calendar, moon phase, power reserve indicator, thermometer, and a world time function. The defining feature of this masterpiece is its highly unusual duplex tourbillon escapement. It was with this exact timepiece that I was granted admission to the AHCI as a candidate in 2005. Furthermore, this landmark creation earned me the prestigious “Masterpiece of Hungarian Craft” award in 2012.

The TOURBILLON NO. 2 is a magnificent carriage clock featuring a self-designed perpetual calendar mechanism. Standing as my most complex table clock to date, it utilizes a highly sophisticated chronometer tourbillon system. I independently developed its entire perpetual calendar architecture, which remains mechanically programmed to display the days of the week, date, months, leap year cycles, and moon phases. In addition to these complications, the timepiece features indications for hours, minutes, and seconds, alongside a thermometer, a wind-up indicator, and a world time display.
My graduation thesis on the design and creation of my Tourbillon No. 2 clock was awarded the Thesis Prize by the Chamber of Engineers in Budapest.
